About Teriyaki Japan
Teriyaki Japan is a japanese in Asheville, North Carolina. It is listed at 3 S Tunnel Rd FC-07, Asheville, NC 28805, which places it among the local businesses of Asheville that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Asheville, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across North Carolina run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Asheville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food court area at Asheville Mall. There was plenty of seating and a play area for kids. The area was clean. I ordered the Special of the day which was Teriyaki Chicken with Rice and 2 Crab ringoons. Pros: 1. Food tasted fresh and well cooked with seasonings which gave a great taste. 2. The staff was respectful and nice. Cons: 1. Special you thank the meal came with plate and drinks and sauce. If Drink not included post. This was misinformation. But I was charged the 9.99 for the food, 2.00+ for a Half/Half Tea, and .50 for the sauce. Which came to just shy of $15.00. 2. There was way to much Rice for one person to eat and a signal serve of meat. - β - - - - - My opinion : Doing a special add the meal and Drinks as one price or note it at the register. Do a Half scoop of rice off. There is no need of half the plate to be rice mound. And maybe do 3 crab rangoons or veggies without wrapped In carbs.

Last night my children and I stopped by a Japanese restaurant inside the Asheville Mall right as they were getting ready to close for the evening. We asked if there was any chance they were still serving food, fully expecting to hear that they were closed β but instead, they welcomed us so kindly and told us they could still take our order and even bring it out to our car once it was ready. Not only was the food freshly made and ready in about 15 minutes, but one of the employees personally brought everything out to us with such kindness and professionalism. We had ordered three drinks for my children, and to our surprise they gifted us an extra drink for me along with three egg rolls at no charge. Such thoughtful gestures that truly meant a lot to us. As we started eating, we realized the white sauces we ordered were missing. Honestly, we were already so grateful they had stayed open to help us that we werenβt going to say anything. A few minutes later, one of the employees came all the way back outside to our car because they realized the sauces had accidentally been left out. That level of care and attention is rare these days. These people truly go above and beyond for their

Appearances can be deceiving. After comparing the appearance of Teriyaki Japan to Panda Express next door, the food looked way more appealing here at Teriyaki Japan, but that is about where it began and ended. The service was fine. It was not friendly, nor rude. Wasn't helpful or unhelpful. They were just doing their job, and nothing more. But my biggest issue was the food was not good. The rice was old and dry, the spring roll was flavorless and the wrapping was very thick. The teriyaki chicken (which was the daily special) I expected to be really good based on appearance and the fact that it was their special. It was not. It did have a nice crisp, but other than that it was flavorless and greasy. My son ordered from Panda Express and everything about it was better. Panda Express had better rice, better quality chicken, cheaper price, and friendlier service.

This is my favorite restaurant by far. Donβt let it being in a mall food court fool you, the fried rice is perfect, the meat is perfect, and one $14 order can easily be split into two meals. The customer service is also phenomenal. Even if Iβm having a horrible day, the woman who usually works the front always makes me smile.

I've become a weekend regular here, the flavors are amazing and I haven't had a bad meal during any of my visits thusfar, the quality control delivers a consistent product that slams your palate with flavor. Definitely try this place over the panda express next to it.
